Don’t Carry a Towel!
Son: The tainted cricketer Sreesanth who had been arrested on match fixing charges has asked a simple question to BCCI, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: He was being interviewed by NDTV after he was given bail, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: Sreesanth just wants to know if he can still play cricket, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: It seems BCCI is putting a pre-condition before Sreesanth is considered for playing in the India Team again, dad.
Father: Like what? Go on, son.
Son:  That Sreesanth should give an undertaking to the Board that he would not carry a towel to the field, dad!
Father: I don’t know, son!
Beni Was Unfair Says Manmohan!
Son: The Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma has said that Mulayam Singh Yadav is not fit to become Prime Minister, dad.
Father: True. Go on son.
Son: According to Verma, Mulayam should first try to get the job of the sweeper at the residence of the PM, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: The journalists sought the comments of the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the statement of Beni, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: He reportedly told them that it was unfair on the part of Beni to ask Mulayam to get a sweeper’s job at PM’s residence, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: According to Manmohan, he was never asked to apply for such a job, before he was made the Prime Minister of the country, dad!
Father: I don’t know, son!
Gujarat Congress in a Hurry!
Son: It seems the Gujarat State Congress was waiting for some opportunity to be in the news, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: It wanted to be one up on CM Narendra Modi at least in some respect, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: In its one-upmanship race, it issued a press release mourning the death of former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela, dad!
Father: Oh! My God! Go on, son.
Son: Mandela is currently on a life-supporting system in a hospital in South Africa, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: The Gujarat Congress is said to be in a state of shock and is trying to recover from its blunder, dad!
Father: I don’t know, son!
The New Logistics Service in Bangalore!
Son: A boy from Bangalore along with his family was said to be on an interview mission for matrimonial purpose, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: After the interview, the parents of the girl wanted to know the employment status of the boy, dad.
Father: Go on, son.
Son: The boy told them that he was into logistics, dad.
Son: When asked to elaborate, the boy told them that he was employed by a logistics company which was engaged in dismantling and transporting of bank ATMs in Bangalore, dad!
Father: I don’t know, son!

It is most unfortunate that there was news in the internet for a few hours that Mandela wad dead! Later only it was confirmed that he was on a life support system!! Unfortunately, Gujarat Congress fell a prey to this and issued an inopportune statement. Opportunistic politics begets only such actions.
